Let’s start with the name itself – T.E.A. – True Enterprise Architecture. Why?
In search of a best fit solution and having attended EA seminars, trainings, lectures and the alike, we agreed that the popular models were more about I.T. than the enterprise. From models embedded in the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and those so tool-oriented they sought to deliver code, we felt the true values of EA, based on what the name implies, was not being delivered. Hence we developed T.E.A. to truly deliver the 30,000 foot view of the whole of the enterprise – and demonstrate how all business units, including but not just I.T., aligned with enterprise agenda. …and with all of this being said, we did believe it would be best served from…I.T.. Why?
